No guarantees from me about leaving epoxy unaffected, but I've used 'Greensolv' stripper on a few projects

On one project, I stripped off black paint which had been put over the original tweed fabric and orange shellac on a tweed Fender guitar amp. Working in stages, with the minimum 'soaking time' I managed to remove the black paint and leave most of the orange shellac intact.
A selection of soft bristle brushes helped with that project, which was tough because of the uneven (fabric underlay) surface.
