If the skeg cable comes out of the skeg box at the top - most do- you can get lubricant in by turning the boat upside down and shooting the lube into the skeg box, from the outside.
Make sure the environmental police aren't around at the next launch as you may have a 'slick' around the boat if you use too much lubricant!
