AVO as long as you are close you're OK.

You're new to this and the most important thing is to get you edges as tight as possible. LIke John, I always used previously cut strips on my next builds and the thickness might be very slighjtly different. Your inside faces are pushed tight to the forms and the outside might be a tiny bit proud. One of your first delightful chores when its first stripped is planing and sanding into a smooth beautiful shape. Any discrepancies will be removed easily.

When I rip strips, I have a large strong feather board that I move in with each pass of cutting. Be careful when ripping with a helper who might tug the board a tiny bit off the fence.
