: I don't have my Guilly forms any longer, but looking at the kayak, I think
: you'd be safe if you split the difference at the tips of the endforms. I
: measure 3/4" from the top of the hull sheer strip to the top of the
: finished boat (deck). In other words, put the "TOP" of the hull
: sheer strip ~1/2"-5/8" below the "TOP" of the tip of
: the endforms - bow and stern. A little variance one way or the other won't
: make any difference.

: If you look closely at the pic below you can see the deck/hull sheer joint
: between the two top tan-colored strips below the white strips. The tape is
: holding the deck and hull together in this pic.
