Can anyone make suggestions on a simple, yet effective tow system that is attached to the kayak rather than one's PFD. I don't have any real solid attachment point on my stern deck other than the toggle loop. If I attach to that point, how can I access the rope or rope bag from the cockpit? Obviously I am missing something. Has anyone stumbled across a good setup that can be universally applied to different kayaks?
Also, are those rescue ropes coiled in the bag a good idea or is it better to have the towline wrapped up somewhere on deck. I have heard that Mariner kayaks has a good towline setup, but I can't figure it out from the pictures on their website. It seems rather short to be effective in big swells, however.
Thanks in advance.
