Starting the season here with classes and had the chance to try something new: I had to wash three cans of soda out of my foreward compartment today so I thought this would be a good opportunity to try a rescue with a flooded bulkhead, this was an assisted rescue. It worked ok with me on the back pushing down and the person in the other boat lifting/draining the bow. But what about doing this by oneself? Other thought, the bulkheads of my North Bay are made out of minicell foam. Seems to me that they provide enough positive flotation to keep the ends up. Anyone else notice what attitude their wood boat has when one of the compartments is flooded?
