Frank,

I'm not laughing; you've just experienced what all of us who are expense-conscious have nightmares about! While I have no solutions to pass on, I am curious about the practices out there for attaching identification to my equipment, and specifically to my paddle. Of course, I don't want to weaken my paddle in any way, and I don't want to create friction for my hands or the water, as I prize my blister-free status and quiet-to-sneaky paddling. Suggestions for a replacement? I really like my Werner Camano carbon-fibre two-piece, (even though I thought I'd found my own perfect paddle match before acquiring this one, after I had used my Werner standard Camano one-piece for a year!

Good luck; or should I just wish you better luck and happy paddling?

Dan
