I may be misnaming the configuration of the front edge. I may be speaking more of the "wing"type (although I know my Camano is a diheadral design, it also has a strong "wing" element). I may just be misnaming things, but if I lay my flat blade on a table power side down next to my Camano, I see the Camano's leading edge curving slightly more towards the table top than the edge of my flat blade. That leads me to believe it must be more prone to catch.

On the other hand, I've got nothing but my exeprience to go on here, and I don't think the effect is pronounced enough to worry a lot about. Technique will overcome either configuration's tendancy to dive, I'm sure.
