Class material

I spoke with the local kayak company, both by email and in person. My question was "if I am already doing pawlatta rolls, will they help me to improve them?" and also, if they teach the greenland sculling brace.

The response is that they teach high and low bracing, and the C to C roll. They do not teach "greenland style" extended paddle rolls. Nor do they cover the sculling brace.

I'm not suprized about the brace, but the rolling bit does suprize me, as most of the instructors I have read posts from here indicate that the extended roll is the easiest to learn and therefore is usually taught first. I went ahead and signed up for the class, thinking that anything they teach me will help. But I am wandering about this response on extended rolls. Does it make sense? Am I asking too much? Or have I made a mistake in thinking that I know what I want out of the class?
