I went out on Hagg Lake yesterday, in the fog. Totally wild, sitting out in the lake with only the compass and the quiet for reference, very eerie. As the fog burned off, the sun made a white rainbow which reflected off the water. I should have asked for a waterproof camera for xmas.
I didnt try rolling. The 3mm wetsuit will be too cold, I dont need to freeze to figure that out. I was quite warm in the boat though.
My newest paddle drips too much water off the blades. The edge is a little under 1/2" thick, and rounded off. Are most of the paddles thinner on the edges? I'm unsure how thin to make them, as they will not be protected with glass. And, I had a suggestion to try waxing the blades so they throw the water better. Does that work?
