I have begun my learning to roll journey. I am occasionally successful but more often end up wet exiting. After Tim Mattson's coaching last week, I can do a paddle float assisted re-entery and roll with no problem, but that leaves me with a kayak full of water. It's a mayor pain to pump it out for the next attempt, or haul it to shore to empty it. My question is, is it effective to attempt another roll with the kayak full of water? Does this method make it harder or eaiser or less effective practice? I sure could get a lot more attempts in during a given amount of time if I don't have to empty the kayak each time I wet exit. What do ya think?
Thanks again Terry
