kayak trailer

Hi all! Im building a collapsable trailer to tow my double kayak up beaches when I stuff up the tide and land on a beach thats a km from the high tide mark. Im planning to use a couple of golf buggy wheels picked up from the dump and build the rest out of some stainless steel pipe Ive got at home... has any one attempted this and if so what ideas have they got? I want to take the trailer with me on trips and it needs to be able to handle a loaded double weighing in the vicinity of 250 kg (not sure what that is in pounds)

any ideas greatly appreciated.
