UNSOLICITED PRODUCT ENDORSEMENT
I've been wearing a pair of Perception neophrene booties while paddling because I can't fit in some boats with my Tevas on. But I wind up carrying my Tevas if I plan on doing any significant walking, especially on rough terrain. The Perception booties were wearing out where they contact the boat so I went looking for something new. What I found was the Chota River Runner Low Top Bootie. They're barely bigger than the Perception booties, but have a substantial sole. I felt perfectly comfortable clambering around on barnacle covered rocks. They're comfortable, easier to get on, and seem to drain water better. I think they were on sale for $30.
