We all have the right to our opinions, you feel I have overstated my case, perhaps so. But I think of situations I know of where a failed T rescue resulted in a hole in a FG boat, with swimming as the last resort. I just can't see someone completely reliant on their PFD, there are situations where you may have to "swim" for it, although this is ill-advised and only a last resort. Perhaps a kayak session or two, but to pursue this sport without being able to swim seems lacking in preparedness.
