John Lockwood, renowned kayak designer and founder of Pygmy Boats, visited San Francisco in 2009 where he gave a lecture at the BASK (Bay Area Sea Kayakers) General Meeting. BASK then gathered all their Pygmy owners to lead John on a paddle to Angel Island, his first kayaking trip in the area.
