Hey!
A short presentation, lives in Sweden.
Have probably been thinking about building a kayak for at least 20 years.
Thought that now is the time, have thought and read a lot what kind I would like to try to build, have now decided to build a skin on frame.
Essentially intends to use Andi Röders description / instructions (http://www.naturligt-ute.se/pdf/kajakbygge.pdf).
Continuation follows, all tips and information are received with gratitude.

Skin on Frame
Using body measurements to build a kayak is fun and you end up with a pretty nice kayak. I think a skin on frame is a great first boat. I used to visit Sweden often I worked for a Swedish company. I miss the country and the people. Here is a couple of picture of my daughter paddling in the Stockholm archipelago about 7 years ago, wonderful place to kayak.
