I'm currently building this exact boat. Just finishing up glassing the hull. I wish I had discovered this message board awhile ago, although all is going pretty well on my boat.

The thing I've had trouble with is laying down a decent epoxy fillet. I sure can't seem to get them looking very good. i think they're plenty functional, just bigger (and heavier) than they need to be.

I'd echo what an earlier poster said about working with the epoxy; get lots of disposable latex gloves, I've used clear packing tape to mask the edges of where I epoxied on my scarfs, I wish I would have done that down the edge of where i was going to apply my fillets as well.

Feel free to email with questions...

Good Luck, -Roger
