Hello, I added a layer of fiberglass over the combing lip, it realy wasn't that hard to do, just make sure to use bias cut strips of cloth and I formed the glass under the lip by using a length of 5/8 inch clear plastic hose with a string inside of it and just tied it around the lip to hold the glass in place until it dried.
