You could pick up a set of foot braces from Wilderness Systems that bolt right in with 2 bolts on each side.These aree the same as what come in there kayaks and they are also used in the Riot White water kayaks.They sell for $30.00 up here in Canada.Not sure on the US price.They work great though and alot of the home builders up here are using them now.Good luck.
