This is a reminder that the First Annual West Coast Wooden Kayak & Canoe Rendezvous will be held August 21-22 at Fort Worden State Park in Port Townsend, Washington.

This first annual event will be a very informal affair - there will be no registration requirement or fees involved. Simply show up and enjoy!

Anyone and everyone who wants to build, is building, or has built a kayak or canoe is invited and encouraged to attend.

All types of craft -- stitch-&-glue, strip-built, skin-on-frame, lapstrake etc. -- should be well represented.

You will be able to meet other building enthusiasts, see their kayaks and canoes, talk boat building, and paddle others boats.
