Do you mean the shear where the hull and deck meet or the chine where the hull curves from the bottom to the side?

What tool or method forces the air into the weave in the first place? I have experienced (a little) that the roller, used without too much pressure, chases the bubbles out not in. I will also be careful to discard scraped wet bubble-filled epoxy.
