I am confident you can build a boat strong enough to handle white water, but it will get beat-up. I would feel bad treating a stripper the same way I treat my rotomolded whitewater kayak. The stripper would not handle the abuse as gracefully as the rotomolded which bounces off and leaves behind a few shavings of red plastic.
