I saw a test strip with the two side-by-side. They looked identical. They both darken the wood but don't obscure the grain. I chose Captains, it was on sale for $8 less than Flagship. It looks great on the boat. I figure as long as I maintain it, I won't have UV problems, I store my boats in my basement.
