Shawn, Save the congrats on the CtoC and Screw rolls till I master them. The Coho rolls so easily that I get away with weak hip snaps and poor form and still come up. I still cant roll my plastic boat easily and I'am very glad YOU suggested I try the Coho.

I'am just learning how Maneuverable the Coho is. I have been doing high brace turns with the cockpit half submerged. I now find myself laying the boat on its side for every turn I make. It is amazing how short a turn you can make with extreme leans. I am just beginning to see how the expert paddlers in this group can paddle 20" beam boats in large ocean swells. I hope to get there someday.

I agree that you cant go wrong with good outfitting. Its more important spending time fitting the boat to your body than adding another coat of varnish.
