I have enjoyed the messages from lee, - and from George Roberts.

In a lot of areas there are consultant services to be bought for money, so why not so for kayak building?

At one time - sooner or later - I believe that I will pay USD 20 to George for the answers to three questions.

Why? Well, he has made it a job to build kayaks trying to get them lighter and stronger than what is usual. Such focus build experience, and being able to share such experience for USD 20 is cheap considering time invested to build a kayak.

To charge money for such advice can be compared with charging money (much more money) for kits, or even plans, which may or may not be much better than other kits or plans available for free.

It is the possible customer who must decide saying yes or no to the offer.

When it comes to George, he is from time to time offering for free the information which he is trying to sell. Do the kit sellers or plan sellers do the same?
