I understand that maybe I am mis-communicating what I mean. I am not stressed out and your question is a good one. I too am wondering if George's claims are true or not. It is not out of the home builders ability to get heat blankets, vacuum pumps, and all of the other stuff. What I mean is that it is not worth my $ or energy to invest in all of that stuff just to build a boat now and then. The weight is not that big of deal is what I'm trying to say.

I do a lot of mountain biking and you should see what some people will do to save a few ounces. They will spend BIG $ to replace a lot of their bolts with Titanium ones, etc. I just hope that this sport doesn't get like that.

I was not trying to offend you or say your question was not a valid one.
