I live in the real world too, its only 10:30 here.

You could tell a cop that your neighbour regularly takes potshots at you and could he please either escort you home or at the very least lend you his vest. I'm bettin' you'll have kayak material when you get home! :-)

I don't know anything about S&G construction and am just getting ready to start a stripper for the first time. So can't help you with the plywood mystery.

My personal view is that two layers of 2 oz. is stronger but there was a huge discussion on this recently and others had varying opinions. Check out the archives.

I have already bought my cloth (6oz.) and so will make the first with a single 6oz. layup, but I am going to do some test panels at the same time and try out some of the ideas from that discussion.
