Ed, It just so happens that the Expedition did catch my eye, but, I was worried about fitting my ........derier into a beam that size. I'm afraid that my experience is non-existant and to modify something like this just might be beyond my abilities. At least for now. I catch on quick, but, I'd hate to make a mistake on something like this. ???? I had figured on a minumum of about 22', and probably up in the 24" area. I like, also, the Night Herron design, but, again, the Butt won't fit. Don't need a shoe-horn fit. Too old and too likely to stay this way. I liked the pics on your site, and I'd like to do that myself. That is definitely a great looking boat. I've got a couple of months to pick a design, so, I'll keep looking. There's lots out there. I need to concentrate on the canoe I'm doing first and make sure I learn a lot before I move on. Thanks for the look-see. :) Like to see the rest of your site when you get the const. done. Rehd
