I went today to "west marine" & looked @ the types of varnish they have. I was surprised to learn that all types of varnish are supposed to be above water line. so, all the discussions about varnish that ran on this board, where ment for the deck only ?

so what about the hull ?

doesn't it get any uv protection ?

what are the hull options for protection ?
