Actually I am not having enough fun. I am embarrassed to say that this November will mark the month in 1998 that I started building the Osprey. I just haven't been able to get the garage time that I need.

Anyway I just completed the 2nd coat of varnish. This weekend I am going to install the deck rigging. Then on October 23 we will have the first paddling of the Osprey. Later this winter I will pull the rigging off and do at least two more coats of varnish. Final ownership of this boat is being contested between my 12-year-old son and my wife. I will let them work it out.

Hopefully I will be able to start the Coho in early November. Construction should go much faster since I (in theory) know much more now than before.
