Sounds like the Rudie family; Pete's wife Kathryn got into paddling after a trip in the San Juans. He's now built boats for both boys, and the next one is hers. I think he's hoping to someday get his own boat built!

I'm hoping to get the chance to paddle some of Joe's boats someday; maybe at the next rendezvous.
