On my Guillemot triple, I was thinking of making the center cutout from a Guillemot Single and the other 2 cutouts from a Guillemot double. The cutouts are different shapes though and I was wondering several questions. Being a big boat, I know we won't be rolling it and the spray skirts won't be working too hard at keeping water out from waves.
1) Is the single shape better at sealing the spray skirt since there are no flat spots?
2) If so, should I make them all the shape of the single for better sealing, or the shape of the double for more room in the back?
3) Should I make them all the same size, or should the middle one be smaller? I can easily resize them on the computer. Note: the same size will allow the spray skirts to all be the same size, but the big cutout in the middle might be too much room for my son.
4) If they all should be the same size should I make them small for more control, or big for more room?
Thanks in advance for all ideas/opinions.
