Aw c'mon, Dean, you're gonna give me a complex! I must admit that there are quite a few places on the hull that didn't wet out very evenly after being scraped. It's not too bad, but I'm not sure I could have done much about it short of re-sanding and getting back into that vicious cycle again. Have you tried a cabinet scraper? It was my first experience with one and I was really happy with the results. IMO, it's a tool that just doesn't get enough attention.
Good luck on the Outer Island. It's my next strip boat, and I may need to pick your brain on your building experiences.
