Ditto on the cabinet scraper. I often use one at work when building wood tabletops and desktops. Faster than a sander and if used with care doesn't create the dips that power sanders are prone to creating. Tip to first-timers: Keep afile handy and keep the scraper sharp. If you're worried about the edges digging in, take a little off the corners with the file. Tom
