I like the bisecting-angle method. It doesn't have to be exact, and in fact, the angle should be slightly on the acute side. This allows the hull and deck sheer strips to meet tightly along the outside edge and leave a slight gap on the inside for epoxy to backfill. Have fun on the new project.
