Just finished taking the Walrus off the forms. I'm amazed that the act of turning the frame over can so suddenly reveal the secret of its beauty. Those little moments are, I think, a large part of the appeal of this boat-building addiction. I've done plenty of projects that afford great satisfaction in their completion, but nothing has ever provided a series of gratifying moments like this. The completion of each step is a new revelation of beauty. There's a temptation to just sit around and admire the work of one's hands. I'm sure my wife gets tired of me asking "So, hon, whaddya think?'' but I just can't get over that intense jolt of the soul that stems from creation. Sermon over. Thanks for all the help so far guys. Tom
