Good post Lee. I got a laugh fromn your analysis of the ply vs strip builder mentality. As a stripper who has built two boats from strips ripped on a small table saw, I always smile when I read some of the "Oh no, there is a 1/16" gap in my hull panels and Pygmy won't give me my money back" posts that seem to pop up here from time to time.
