Hi Shawn,
No, titebond dries almost clear usually. I'm getting a chalky white appearence and yes even though the bottle says it won't effect integrity as long as your above freezing I have had some joints let go. I had been working on a section of the hull and got so fustrated last night that I cut about a weeks worth of work off and put it in the burning bin.
