I am working on the forms for a Guillemot and was wondering about cypress because it is available here. The cedar I had found to date in the Jacksonville FL area hasn't looked real good. I have a Chesy 17 I built a year ago and paddle regularly. My choice of S&G's was originally between the Coho and the Chesy. Price won out. I would have been happy with either one. The water around here is very conducive to paddling. There is a great group of paddlers in the area. So on the weekends, when I am not spearfishing, I am on the local waters somewhere paddling, assuming reasonable weather. Every day here is a vacation day and every meal is a feast. Life is great. Don
