In Response To: Spruce strips for a kayak? (Hank)
Hi Hank, Spruce and cedar hould have a nice contrast. If you plan to cove and bead your strips I would stick with 1/4" thick. The edges come out better as the router bits are designed for 1/4" thick strips. Have fun!
