hi lee, from my own 3yr.experience with wooden paddles, i can very highly recommend the cricket paddle company. [#800 243-0586].not only are they beautiful but so far, for me, un-breakable. i have 4. started with an innuit then bot one for a gift then an un-feathered spoon the a take a part adjustable spoon. like ur boat they are just nice to look at. iv'e used the innuit for paddle float re-entry classes and all sizes of students with no problems. cant beat it for a extended paddle roll-up. like holding on to a dock. good luck deeds.
