Tyvek as a skin

Did I read on here that tyvek can be used as a skin for kayaks? I've been searching the archive, but as yet cannot find the post I remember. It may be tghe that I dreamed it or have completely taken leave of my senses. If anyone can help, it'll be appreciated.
