I needed a big single for big loads in my kayak guiding business.I have Aquaterra Chinooks and Sea Lions, NW Pursuits, Dagger Apostles and SEDA plastic kayaks. My Chesapeake 18' easily has more space than any of them. I get enough gear for several weeks plus a second stove, extra tarp and my sleeping pads all below decks.
