I received an e-mail today about a new invention that may be of interest to boaters with small children. Disclaimer: I'm passing it along for your review. It sounds like a good idea, but it is not yet on the market, and the people who sent me the e-mail are plainly seeking publicity and investors so they can bring this to market. I am not involved with them in any way, and I don't want to be.
Now that you have been warned about the motives, here is a very interesting safety item. I'm sure it willhave to go through Coast Guard testing and approval before it ever gets to a manufacturing stage, but you hear about these things first, right here.

Hello,
This is National Children’s Safety Seat Week. I have a nice story to present to you. I am one of three average individuals that have invented a floating infant safety seat(patent pending). The seat can hold up to a 35lb infant. No matter how this seat lands in the water, it always turns right-side up… it never capsizes. There is nothing remotely close to it on the market. Anyone that has been boating/has an infant will agree that something like this is long overdue.
Within the past couple of weeks, we were featured in the “Daily Herald” newspaper 3 times(front page business section). Tomorrow, we will be font page of The Pioneer Press(Rolling Meadows). Please take two minutes of your time and view our website; the website provides more information.
Thank You, Robert Kot.
