Yeah, I love paddling Tomales Bay, hardly a more beautiful spot anywhere. Richmond Marina is also a nice place to launch (and only about 15 minutes from my house). As I gradually build my skills and understanding of the rather complex tidal currents around here I'm sure I'll be out there riding the ebbs and floods too. Just don't want to end up on the 6 o'clock news being hauled onto a Coast Guard vessel after getting swept out the Golden Gate. My ego's too fragile to handle such humiliation.
