I haven't drawn out these plans, but try this: Draw a line with first point being "0,1.44" and second point using "@distance<angle", for example @8.80<70. The angle is referenced with 0 degrees straight down, so 70 might be 340 or 200 depending on how you have autocad set up (if 0 degrees is to the right horizontally).
