> Thanks. C'mon guys, where are the purists? Could not imagine putting a plastic seat in my beautiful strip-built Expedition Single. Why use synthetics (plastic/foam) when it can be made of wood? I have built 2 lightweight, strong, adjustable, removable, COMFORTABLE and beautiful seats using only wood and cord. If you can build an entire kayak out of sticks, you can build a seat. I also designed a simple, adjustable, removable, strong footpeg system of wood. No wood or metal in my boat! Think outside the box!!
