I have a Patuxent 17.5. All the comments about the 19.5's straightline speed, turning and stability apply to the 17.5. I've cracked the rear decks (unglassed) on both my CLC boats. Both times I was horsing around with the boats. With normal care (and I understand that CLC now offers 4mm decks) I wouldn't worry about durability too much.
