Pete, Too bad you are not closer (I am in No. Minnesota). I have a whole unit (150 sheets) of really nice looking 4mm BS1088 Meranti. Most of it is the darker reddish brown color with a lot of wavy/curly grain. Looks really nice (for plywood ;>) ). I got it at Lake Elmo Lumber and Plywood just east of Minneapolis/St. Paul. Don't think they mail order though.
