If you're in the eastern end of the state you might try taking a ride over to Jamestown Distributors in Rhode Island.

When I was building boats in CT last summer I ordered everything from Noah's, Jamestown, and Newfound Woodworks. As long as I could plan 2-3 days ahead I had a wide choice of materials. Shipping is usually only a small portion of the material costs. I made up a spreadsheet listing costs from half a dozen suppliers so it was easy to find the best price at a momments notice.
